Government Communication Unit
Objective
To provide expertise on
effective information, and communication between the Commission and its
stakeholders to enhance efficiency in the performance of the government.
This Unit perform the following
activities:-
- Coordinate preparation and
dissemination of various PSC publications;
- Coordinate press briefings,
handle press enquiries and setting up interviews between press and the Commission;
- Engage in dialogue with the
public through the media on issues concerning the Commission;
- Up-date information on the
website;
- Advise the management on all
matters related to Information and Communication;
- Prepare and implement
Communication Strategy for the Commission;
- Media monitoring and press
cutting to keep the Commission aware of how news stories
covered the Commission.
This Unit is led by a Principal Information Officer
